The Feng Shui of Buckingham Palace

Watching the royal wedding this morning…not that I'm a British-wannabe, but there is something special and magical about a royal wedding. It's history and I, for one, did not want to miss it. I am watching the events unfold at Buckingham Palace as I write this.

Curious about what the feng shui is like at Buckingham Palace.

When I googled it, I came up with this:

Lillian Too says, "Buckingham Palace in London is unbalanced – there is too much stone at the front and nothing to bring living energy into the area. Lillian suggests that the feng shui could be greatly improved by introducing small hedges and perhaps a water fountain."

I agree with her. The entry is extremely important to a building, especially a royal palace. When viewing the Palace this morning, it seemed very barren in front (that was before trillions of people filled the circle!). Even a string of potted plants would go far in creating more life in this grand entrance area.

Brit Thomas Coxon has to say: "Buckingham Palace is presently positioned so that the buildings surrounding it weaken male monarchs. The lake in St. James’s Park is a boon to the wealth of female monarchs, while the open space indicates long reigns. SUGGESTION: Rotating the Palace to face the park and lake removes gender inequality and adds power and control to the configuration of the entire governmental sector."

I don't quite agree here. I think shifting the entrance would do more harm than good. The grand avenue and circle need to be aligned with the front entrance to achieve maximum benefit of chi energy.

I would suggest erecting a large, grand masculine statue in the park to the right of the palace would help secure the male energy and therefore, the male monarchy.

So enjoy the reruns of the ceremony today! And best wishes to Princess Kate & Prince William!

Nice post, Maureen!  To me, Buckingham Palace is overloaded with Earth (and stone) energy: all those squares within squares embody very heavy, stuck energy.
The introduction of a large circular fountain would go a long way towards breaking up the Earth energy and add a sense of lively flow and vitality as well.  I'd add one outside the palace and in the large courtyard as well, to keep healthy Chi energy moving.

Great ideas, Ann! Yes, water energy will bring more vital life force energy to the space. Love that!
